Bio

I’m a lifelong Midwesterner and journalist based in Madison, Wisconsin.

I am currently a digital news editor at Wisconsin Public Radio and freelancer.

Since graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s School of Journalism and Mass Communication, I have written and edited numerous stories focusing on topics from animal research to K-12 education to climate change and more.

While covering health, science and the social policy is my forte, I love the opportunity writing provides to become an expert on a given topic in order to tell interesting and important stories.

My work has appeared on wpr.org, in Isthmus, Wisconsin Watch, the Wisconsin State Journal, The Record (formerly The International), UW-News, In Common and more.
